The Maxime Old Council Chair was designed for the City Council Room of Rouen in 1960.
A project realised for Jean Lecanuet (Mayor of Rouen, President of region Normandie and candidate to Presidence of Republic of France) in parallel to the ocean-liner France. Its presidential armchair version also exists. It is part of the “Paquebot France Collection” (TM) as the inspiration is the same with wood instead of steel. In our archive we have the metal variation, just waitting for a connoisseur to ask it being realised.
